LAD # 11

Well to start off this convention was a woman rights movement that lasted over two days, in which they wrote this declaration. I think that it is adorable that they start off this declaration the same exact way that the Declaration of Independence was started off, with one small change, "we hold these truths to be self evident that all men and women are created equal..." Basically a slap in the face for the male population. It then goes on to a list of greivences which to me seem very very unfair... Sheesh woman did not seem to matter very much at all in prominent society, they just sort of sat there and their hubbies did everything, even if it was their land by right! Lastly it gives a list of ways to solve these grivences quickly and cleanly, I feel pretty proud of my Female ancestors for writing this very clever piece that brought unfair and unjust laws to the light.
