1. The Civil War was consider the first "modern" war mainly because cameras existed.
2. Washington never had any really inspiring speeches, like Lincoln did, concerning the Revolutionary War.
3. Paintings of the time period were not very accurate descriptions of what really happened, for example dead bodies were all over but not in the paintings.
4. Many soldiers went about naked, or partially naked because of lack of supplies.
5. Lastly prisoners were killed on both sides! I'm not talking mayhap a bit here or there, more than 50%! that's ridiculous!
